A way to explore the popular typefaces you have on your computer.
My favorite font doesn’t show up, what’s that about?
Click the black bar at the top of the screen and type in the name of the font you want. It will become the main font and be remembered for the future. If that doesn’t work, please let me know.
Wait for a second, this is in my web browser, how do you know what fonts I have installed!?!
They create some hidden elements and measure them before and after changing their font family. It turns out that this isn’t a new idea.
Anything else?
Just a couple of keyboard shortcuts: control-b = bold, control-i = italics
What should this work on?
Firefox 2+, Safari 3+, IE7+. iOS5 Mobile Safari. OS/X a fair bit nicer than Windows.
