The concept of the Founders Toolkit originated in 2017 however it wasn’t until the end of 2021 that any updates on the site would see the light of day. Why? You could call this failure to launch. It could also be the original concept was too complicated and involved too much time. Or maybe this founder thought he wasn’t worthy of launching such a site or what we call – head trash.
To be honest, it’s a little bit of all of the above.
You see, this founder also has Entrepreneurial A.D.H.D. or as some may say – too many shiny objects syndrome. While I don’t condone such behavior, it is something I have to learned to live with. I know others that have it too so it seems to make it okay. That’s why it took a while to finally get to Founders Toolkit from an overly complicated idea to a basic MVP concept that could be launched in a fair amount of time with little resources and a whole lot of know how.
Alright, that’s great and all but what is Founders Toolkit?
Founders Toolkit’s goal is to be a comprehensive guide for any founder to get unstuck and take the next steps to their success. No matter where you’re at in your business you’ll be able to get unstuck, move forward or pivot, and get the success you want. We will focus on the founder’s journey through the cycle of business from ideation to exit and beyond.
The first round of content resources will focus on the “Ideation” category.
Ideation is the process of bringing together concepts, generating ideas, and organizing them into a plan or blueprint. It is a creative process where underlying assumptions are built into the idea. A new idea is formed from existing ones that provide context and meaning to it. Ideation can happen through a variety of activities including brainstorming, sketching, vision boards, mind mapping and writing thoughts down in a notebook or journal.
And in this day and age, there’s no reason to get stuck on what your business idea should be. There are a ton of apps out there and plenty of support to help you flesh out your idea. And now that we’ve gone through the ideation stage ourselves, it’s time to lift that failure curtain and unveil Ideation.
It’s time…Let’s do launch.
Hopefully you’ll find something of value while looking through all the fun ideation tools at your disposal.
